EQUIP: Because global needs need leaders

EQUIP: Because global needs need leaders

Hello from Pebble Beach, California! There are certainly worse places to spend a week in October, but Pebble Beach is especially significant to me right now because of the EQUIP Leadership Summit and Golf Classic.
You may have seen that EQUIP is the non-profit organization that I founded over a decade ago. EQUIP specializes in the development of effective international Christian leaders. To see WHY, take a look at this video:

This week’s event is dedicated to sharing the vision of EQUIP and providing opportunities to partner with us in our mission, whether through a financial contribution or even a teaching role as an associate trainer.

Even if you aren’t with us in person, you can still learn more about EQUIP at their website, www.iequip.org. For up-to-date news on what EQUIP is doing around the world, you can “like” them on Facebook and/or follow them on Twitter.

My vision for EQUIP is that it be continually committed to developing leaders whose potential is great but opportunities for learning leadership have been limited. I am absolutely convinced that if Christian leaders around the world are trained, resourced, and encouraged, there is no limit to what can be accomplished in fulfilling the Great Commission!

Hi, my name is Marsden and I leave in Kenya in a town called Kitale. I have interacted with John Maxwell Leadership materials and I am currently facilitating training sessions in my local church. This leadership session have really impacted the church positively and we are on a journey towards lifting the leadership lid higher. I was writing just to find out what it takes to be an associate trainer and whether I can get your training manuals that would aid my training sessions.

    Regards,

    Marsden

My name is Joel, I’m from the Philippines. I’m happily married to Lorelie, my wife of 30 years ( and still counting ) and we’re blessed with 2 wonderful children, Joanne and Justin. We are a member of a Catholic Community called Couples For Christ. I started listening to the talks of Dr. John Maxwell at the start of the enhance community quarrantine. I secretly walk for 5 kilometers every morning and making Dr. Maxwell’s talk my daily spiritual breakfast. I am a slow learner and I have to listen over and over again in order for me to digest the message fully. I share it to our household member during virtual prayer meeting. Though some talks are several years ago, like How to Feed your Faith, The Purpose of Life: Be the Salt and Light, Perspectives About Possessions ( my most favorite ) and the latest on to Share Your Faith Successfully, very timeless. I’m incorporating it from my exhortation and talks, especially that we are launching our ANCOP ( Answering the Cry of the Poor ) Global Walk Program for 2020. Please include us in your prayers for the success of this program, because we all know that this is a very challenging time, but as Dr. Maxwell’s has said that we should be a river of God’s blessings no matter what and should not be a resevoir. I’m glad that I was able to share something of how amazing God is in all of our life. Regards to Pastor Tom and Pastor Tod. Be well and be safe. God bless.
